WARRANTY & SERVICE GUARANTEE

Our Commitment to the Legend

At our Evansville, IN Pro Shop, we stand firmly behind every limb, riser, and cam system we sell. As an authorized provider of Bear Archery products, your purchase is backed by nearly a century of engineering excellence. We don’t just sell bows; we ensure they stay in the field for a lifetime.

1. Limited Lifetime Warranty (Compound Bows)

All new Bear Archery compound bows (including the Bear Archery Cruzer G2, Adapt, Legit, and Paradigm) are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original owner.

What is Covered:

  • The Riser: Guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner.

  • The Limbs: Covered 100% for the first five (5) years, and at 50% replacement cost thereafter.

What is NOT Covered:

  • Strings and cables (wear-and-tear items).

  • Bearings, paint, or film-dipped finishes (considered aesthetic wear).

  • Damage caused by dry-firing, improper bow-press usage, or modifications performed by non-authorized technicians.

2. Traditional Series Warranty (Recurves & Longbows)

The spirit of Fred Bear lives in our traditional line. All Bear Archery recurve bows—including the Kodiak, Grizzly, and Super Mag—carry a One-Year Limited Warranty.

  • Coverage: Protects against delamination or limb failure due to manufacturing defects.

  • Requirement: The warranty is valid only if the bow has been strung using a proper bow stringer. Damage from manual stringing (step-through method) voids coverage.

3. Youth & Beginner Series

Bows designed for the next generation, such as the Bear Brave and Apprentice, carry a 90-Day Limited Warranty. These are built for durability, but the warranty covers structural integrity rather than the rough-and-tumble wear expected from new archers.

4. How to Initiate a Warranty Claim

We make the process seamless for our customers. If you suspect a manufacturing defect:

  1. Stop Use Immediately: For your safety, do not attempt to shoot a bow with suspected structural damage.

  2. Contact Our Evansville Team: Email info@beararchery.us.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

  3. Technical Review: Our on-site bow technicians will review the claim. If deemed a manufacturer defect, we will coordinate with the Bear Archery factory for repair or replacement.

  4. Shipping: The customer is responsible for shipping the item to our service center; we will cover the return shipping on all approved warranty repairs.

5. Authorized Service Center Advantage

Buying from an authorized Bear Archery store like ours ensures your warranty is valid. Third-party marketplaces or unauthorized “gray market” sellers often sell bows with voided warranties. When you shop with us, your investment is safe.
