1. Our Shipping Philosophy: Fast, Secure, and Field-Ready

At our Bear Archery Pro Shop, we know that when you order a Bear Archery compound bow or a traditional recurve, you aren’t just buying a product—you’re preparing for your next season. We specialize in the secure transport of high-performance archery equipment. Every order is dispatched from our central hub at 817 Maxwell Avenue, Evansville, IN, ensuring efficient transit times to any destination in the lower 48 states.

2. Order Processing & “Ready-to-Hunt” Setup

  • Standard Processing: Orders for accessories, apparel, and components typically ship within 1–2 business days.

  • Bow Setup Time: To ensure your Bear Archery Legit or Cruzer G2 arrives in peak condition, our on-site technicians perform a secondary quality inspection on all bow orders. Please allow 2–4 business days for bows to be professionally packed and dispatched.

  • Cut-off Times: Orders placed before 12:00 PM CST Monday through Friday begin processing the same day.

3. Domestic Shipping Rates & Tiers

We offer competitive shipping rates optimized for the weight and dimensions of archery gear.

  • Free Standard Shipping: Available on all orders over $149 (Excluding oversized targets or heavy 3D foam).

  • Flat Rate Accessory Shipping: Small items (sights, rests, broadheads) ship for a flat rate of $9.99.

  • Precision Bow Shipping: All compound and recurve bows are shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx Home Delivery in heavy-duty, reinforced boxes to prevent limb torque or riser damage. A flat rate of $25.00 applies to ensure specialized handling and full insurance.

4. Estimated Transit Times (From Evansville, IN)

Our Midwest location allows for some of the fastest shipping in the industry:

  • Midwest & East Coast: 2–3 Business Days

  • South & Gulf Coast: 3–4 Business Days

  • West Coast & Pacific Northwest: 4–5 Business Days

  • Expedited Options: We offer UPS 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air for hunters in a rush. Rates are calculated dynamically at checkout based on your specific zip code.

5. Shipping Restrictions & International Orders

  • P.O. Boxes: Due to the size of most Bear Archery bows, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a physical residential or business address.

  • Signature Required: For your protection, all orders containing a bow valued over $500 (such as the Bear Archery Adapt or Kodiak Series) require an adult signature upon delivery.

  • International: We currently ship to the USA and Canada. Note that international customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and brokerage fees.

6. Tracking and Insurance

Once your gear leaves our Evansville facility, you will receive an automated email with your tracking number.

  • Fully Insured: Every bow shipment is 100% insured against loss or damage during transit.

  • Damage Claims: In the rare event your package arrives damaged, do not open the box if the exterior is crushed. Take photos immediately and contact info@beararchery.us.com so we can initiate a claim and rush you a replacement.

7. Returns & Exchange Policy (Quick Summary)

We offer a 30-day return window for unused items in their original packaging.

  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to all returned bows to cover the cost of technical inspection and re-tuning.

  • Non-Returnable: Custom-cut arrows and bows that have been dry-fired or modified are not eligible for return.
